UNITED IN HEALING

On International Women's Day 2025, we hosted our very first retreat, a day created with one purpose: to surround women impacted by the Los Angeles fires with comfort, care, and community.

In the wake of loss, rebuilding begins with more than replacing what was taken. It begins with feeling seen, supported, and reminded that you are not alone. We wanted to create a space where survivors could set aside the stress and uncertainty of the months behind them and simply receive.

The day began with wellness experiences designed to nurture both mind and body. Guests participated in restorative yoga, experienced the calming power of sound healing, and were invited to slow down, breathe, and reconnect with themselves. These moments of peace were made even more meaningful through the generous support of our partners, including Lululemon and POPFLEX, whose contributions helped every guest feel welcomed and cared for.

As the day continued, each woman experienced something deeply personal. Working alongside an incredible team of volunteer stylists, we created thoughtfully curated wardrobes using clothing that had been sourced specifically for each guest. Every outfit was selected with care, reflecting not just style but dignity, confidence, and a fresh beginning.

After finding their new looks, guests enjoyed professional hair and makeup services before stepping in front of the camera for a portrait session. These photographs became more than beautiful images they captured resilience, strength, and the incredible spirit of women who continue to move forward despite unimaginable challenges.

More than anything, our first retreat was about creating connection. Throughout the day, women shared stories, laughed together, supported one another, and found comfort in a community that understood what they had experienced. The atmosphere was filled with kindness, encouragement, and hope.

Looking back, this first retreat laid the foundation for everything that has followed. Since that day, we've had the privilege of hosting three additional events, continuing our mission of creating spaces where women can heal, reconnect, and be celebrated.

We remain deeply grateful to every volunteer, stylist, wellness practitioner, photographer, makeup artist, donor, and sponsor who believed in this vision from the very beginning. Your generosity transformed a single day into an experience that reminded every woman in attendance that she was valued, worthy, and never alone.

Our first retreat was just the beginning, and it continues to inspire the work we do today.
